Gain Valuable Work Experience in the Italian Capital

For students of Italian or students just interested in gaining work experience in one of Europe’s most historic, culturally rich cities, Rome is the place to be. From history and archaeology to art to business to education, there are opportunities available for students pursuing a wide range of disciplines. Many internships can be secured through a work or study abroad organization, but a few students, with a bit of research, may be able to obtain an internship independently.

IES Abroad’s Internships in Rome
IES offers a summer internship program in Rome from early June through the end of July. Internships are for students with beginner through advanced Italian language skills. Arts, education, sciences, business, and journalism are just a few participants’ fields of study for which IES has been able to assist in finding an internship in Rome. Education and Social Sciences-Related Internships
Rome is a sprawling metropolis that has plenty of opportunities to work in a school or for a community organization. These jobs will help students gain fundraising and public relations experience, as well as basic office skills.

Rome and Vatican City are home to many magnificent, world-famous sculptures and paintings. (Sistine Chapel, anyone?) The city is a wonderful place to study art and gain work experience in the field.
